Friday 12pm-7pm, Saturday 10am-7pm, and Sunday 8am-3pm
This first-ever festival honoring America's veterans is expected to draw thousands of service members and patriotic supporters.
"The Laughlin Veterans Festival was designed to show our appreciation for those who have served our great nation," said Pat Christenson, president of Las Vegas Events. "Over the years, Laughlin has demonstrated a strong ability to host a variety of events, and we believe this festival has the elements to be one of the most successful to date."
Festival events will include a motorcycle show and shine, live entertainment, food and beverage vendors, military displays, an interactive vendor area and marketplace and a special Veterans Memorial ceremony. Country performer and veteran Rockie Lynne will headline with performances on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Segments of the weekend will be filmed for broadcast as part of Rolling Thunder "North American Motorcycle Rallies," a nationally and internationally syndicated TV series produced by Iceman Productions focused on veterans, their stories, their lives and their cause. The Laughlin Veterans Festival will benefit Rolling Thunder Charities and TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors).
Additional townwide events that weekend include the Smoke on the Water BBQ & Music Festival at Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort, Rogue Warrior MMA fights at Edgewater's E Center, the Golden Nugget Laughlin's 25th Annual FastPast classic car show and Lee Greenwood appearing at Harrah's Laughlin.
